Benefits of Dark Fibre and how to find it.
Dark fibre is simply an optical fibre link that is not “lit” by a carrier or network provider. There is dark fibre sitting spare in roadside cabinets and exchanges waiting for the carrier to light it and deliver managed services.
Optical fibre carries signals of light. In fact, they are signals of light, or no light, equating to 1 and 0 in the binary system used by computer software.

How do we work
We assess the best way to connect your sites based on bandwidth requirements, length of ownership/lease of the buildings and the distances involved.
You supply us with addresses (we’ll design a network and cost it for up to 4 sites for free) and we provide you with options.
Once we install the fibre it is yours to use as you please – often we can install a multi-core cable so that you can use different fibres for different services; and as it’s all Layer 1 connectivity, it’s easy to manage. We can also install and manage optical wavelength multiplexing equipment, if required.
We have a full range of managed services as well.
